Cold joint repair
The following steps are specified for cold joint waterproofing:
Clean the wall surface.
Chip out the cold joint to the depth of one inch.
Stop any active leaks with black cement and dry the surface with a torch.
Coat with a waterproofing material.
Apply adhesive over the waterproofing material, as well as part of the wall and floor.
Install a continuous patch along the cold joint, forming a 45° angle.
Coat the patch with a waterproofing material, extending it on both sides.
