Repair Method

The following steps are specified for cold joint waterproofing:

  1. Clean the wall surface.

  2. Chip out the cold joint to the depth of one inch.

  3. Stop any active leaks with black cement and dry the surface with a torch.

  4. Coat with a waterproofing material.

  5. Apply adhesive over the waterproofing material, as well as part of the wall and floor.

  6. Install a continuous patch along the cold joint, forming a 45° angle.

  7. Coat the patch with a waterproofing material, extending it on both sides.
