APPLICATION BENEFITS

ASPHALT, CONCRETE, MASTIC REPAIR

Costly traffic topping replacement can be avoided by repairing asphalt, concrete, or mastic surfaces if the existing coating has sufficient adhesion to the membrane underneath. A vapour barrier primer is applied, with aggregates to ensure membrane adhesion. A polyurea- or urethane-based waterproofing membrane is installed next, followed by an aromatic (non-UV) or aliphatic (UV-resistant) top coat, depending on project requirements. It is broadcast with aggregates for user safety.

REPAIR TYPES

CONCRETE PATCHING

THIN PATCH APPLICATIONS

Concrete starts delaminating due to aging and weather conditions. Severe delamination can pose a hazard to resident safety, as is the case with damaged balcony floors. Patching of concrete surfaces must be done in a timely manner to prevent more complex and costly repairs in the future.

The use of specialised materials that provide monolithic 1.8 MPa adhesion allows for patches as thin 5 mm to be installed, which makes slope correction possible. The patches will not delaminate thanks to an instant and durable adhesive bond. Extensive patching can be done, avoiding slab recasting in most cases.

CEILINGS, WALLS, FLOORS

Patches as thin as 5 mm can be done thanks to specialised materials.

LIABILITY & COSTS

Polyforce’s 1.8 MPa adhesion fully restores concrete’s load-carrying capacity.

ANNUAL MAINTENANCE

Materials specified have been rated to MTO standards to last 25 years.

REPAIR TYPES

CRACK REPAIR

CONCRETE RESTORATION

As concrete ages, especially when it
is exposed to weather elements, it tends to crack. The longer the concrete surface remains in disrepair, the deeper and more extensive the cracks become, eventually leading to concrete slab demolition and replacement.

Timely concrete slab crack repair, in most cases, can prevent recasting. Concrete wall and ceiling crack repair can be done without forming thanks to the instant bonding provided by the specialised adhesives we specify for repairs. They hold the crack filler
material in place, ensuring lasting results. Both single defined and multiple cracks can be repaired.

MONOLITHIC ADHESION

Materials specified provide 1.8 MPa adhesion, fusing new and old concrete.

PERMANENT WATERPROOFING

Extensive crack repair allows for surface restoration without extensive demolition.

RESTORED LOADING CAPACITY

Monolithic adhesion fully restores concrete’s load-carrying capacity.

CONCRETE CRACK REPAIR

LASTING RESULTS & COMPLETE RESTORATION

Crack-Repair.png

A concrete slab is supposed to withstand a 1.2 MPa tensile strength.

Crack filling done with specialised materials and high-strength adhesives results in a 1.8 MPa of tensile adhesion, restoring the slab to its original specification.

Application design allows for single defined and multiple cracks to be repaired with minimal demolition. Restoring structural integrity of the slab is designed to avoid slab recasting.

PERMANENT WATERPROOFING

Materials specified have been rated at 15 years of lifespan.

Ceiling, wall, and floor expansion joints waterproofed.

PODIUM ROOF JOINTS

DURABLE WATERPROOFING & COST SAVINGS

Specialised application methods allow for liquid rubber to be injected directly into the expansion joints, from the bottom, ensuring efficient podium slab waterproofing. No excavation and existing membrane removal is necessary, significantly cutting down on costs and area closures.

REPAIR TYPES

LEDGE BEAMS

EFFICIENT
WATERPROOFING

PRECISE INJECTION

Guided rails allow for correct injection port installation.

Ledge beams can start leaking because
the expansion joints located above
them are in disrepair. If the issue is
not solved, ledge beam concrete will
continue degrading, eventually posing
a structural hazard.

Concrete expansion joint repair can
be part of ledge beam waterproofing.
By injecting the expansion joints, as
well as restoring the beams with crack
repair and patching, ledge beam load carrying capacity can be preserved.

Once the exact joint location is
determined, an injection port is drilled
through close to 40 cm of ledge beam
concrete, and a polyurea-based
material is injected.

NEGATIVE-SIDE INJECTION

Joints above ledge beams arefully waterproofed.

CRACK REPAIR & PATCHING

Ledge beam surface restored and painted, as needed.

LEDGE BEAM REPAIR

EXPANSION JOINT & LEDGE BEAM WATERPROOFING

Expansion-Joint---Ledge.png

Concrete expansion joint repair can be part of ledge beam waterproofing. By injecting the expansion joints located above ledge beams, water infiltration and ledge beam degradation can be prevented.

Ledge beam crack repair and patching can help restore their load-carrying capacity.
